Once upon a time, Funky Koreatown was looking to buy a humorous Korean t-shirt for someone. Searching high & low, one was eventually found one off a POD site (Print on Demand), but realized that the pickin's were slim.. Most of the designs were some text slogans in some unoriginal font. The rest of them had fairly unprofessional, clipart type graphics. It was at that time that we decided that we could do it better!

We created some initial designs & started selling shirts on the same POD site, achieving success by offering higher quality & funnier Korean tees than the rest. Now we are totally independent, meaning we are able to provide even higher quality t-shirts, all at a lower price..:)
